If you will send me an e-mail with your address I will get your candy out to you. Congratulations!

Today’s card helps with some relief from the heat as it reminds us that winter and snow is not far away. I combined 2 challenges with today’s card. The first one was a sketch challenge from 365 Cards. They have a daily challenge hence the name 365 Cards. This is also Art Glitter week so you can use glitter on their challenges this week as an added bonus. I have lots of glitter and it has been a while since I have used it I decided to try this challenge today and will try and do it every day if I can work it in.

The other challenge was from the Caardvarks blog. You had to create a new Winter themed card – holiday cards, snowmen, snowflakes, whatever reminds you of the Winter season. With the heat we have had the past few days I thought this would be fun to do and hopefully bring a little relief. Here is the sketch and my creation.

inside of card
Stamps: The More the Merrier (hostess) Paper: Night of Navy, white, Ocean PP (Watercolor Collection – Making Memories) Ink: Palette Noir Black Accessories: Only Orange maker, Silver Gray marker (Marvy, small and large tag punch, glue pen (ZIG), Angel Dust – Christmas Red – Mellow Yellow – Royale – Vine Art Glitter, snowflake punch (retired), small snowflake punch (front – Michael’s), ribbon (JoAnn’s – Santa’s Workbench), Snowflake eyelet charm (Making Memories), brads (Pink Hedgehog), dimensionals
Hope you are doing well in the heat. It has been horrible here the past few days. They are saying we will get some relief tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers! Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
