Happy Wednesday to you!
Can you believe this weather? One day we have snow/ice and the next it is sunny and warm. Hopefully it will make up its mind soon.
When I began my card I wanted to do a bright and cheery card to bring some sunshine and warmth to everyone who looks at it. I knew I would be using Daffodil Delight.
I found a great sketch challenge at Our Creative Corner. That I thought would be fun to do. I hadn’t used Fifth Avenue Floral in a while so I thought the daisy would be fun – besides daisies are a fun Spring flower. When I looked at the sketch below I saw the daisies as the oval element.
I began by stamping the daisy with Basic Black. I then colored the centers in with the Daffodil Delight marker. I then decided to try adding some color with the blender pen and ink in the lid. I liked the look of the Daffodil one so I used colors from the Color Coach to do the other 2.
When I was finished coloring all 3 I pulled out my glitter pen and added some sparkle as I love sparkle on a card. Next I used the leaf stamp from Autumn Splendor to stamp the background. Then I ripped the edge. When I laid out the pieces on the the card base, it needed something so I pulled out my skinny black taffeta and added 2 rows with a knot. Here is my final creation.

Hope you enjoyed my little bit of sunshine. Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Hi Robbie. I love this card. I liked the colors, the leaves stamped on the background paper, and how you colored the flowers. The flowere really stand out. I may have to copy this when I start stamping again. Sandy
