Something besides a Christmas or Winter Card

I thought I would make a card that was not Christmas or Winter themed. I don’t know about you but we have had so much rain here that I am ready for a change. Since I couldn’t get a sunny day, I decided to make my own sun by creating a card with some flowers.

I was checking out my challenge blogs and decided to use the color Challenge from the Color Throwdown blog. You were to use Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red, Soft Sky, and Wild Wasabi. I thought those colors would make some great flowers. I also ran across a challenge on the Creative Belli blog where you were to use flourishes on your card. I remembered I had the scribbles die cut that I hadn’t used in a while. When I went looking for the die, I ran across my dies for some other flowers and decided to go with this idea. Here is my creation.

inside of card

Sorry the inside is hard to see but I wanted a softer look so I second generation stamped it and it was pale like I wanted but made it hard to photograph for you to see. Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
