Something Different

Sorry for the late post today. I was getting a couple of cards made.

This card was made using the sketch from Shirley’s 2 Girls Challenge blog. I decided to use the stamp set I won when I did their challenge previously. They had an added bonus to use polka dots which I did using my patterned paper. This is a 5 x 7 card to accommodate the paper doily. Not sure you can tell but I pierced the bottom as well as added clear Stardust pen to the image. Here is the sketch and my creation.

inside of card

Stamps: Spring Fever (Shirley’s 2 Girls) Paper: Summer Sun, white, Patterns Pack II Ink: Palette Noir Black Accessories: paper doily, Copic markers, ribbon (Michael’s), Ornare piercing template – piercing mat – piercer, Nestabilities, Sakura clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen, sticky tape, dimensionals

Okay as promised here is the Blog Candy for gettin 5,000 hits.

It includes some 6 x 6 patterned paper, ribbon, lace, stamps, paper embellishments, and some metal embellishments. To be eligible post a comment to this blog by Monday August 10 at 9:00 p.m. Only participants in the United States and Canada will be considered due to postage costs.
Thanks for looking and have a great evening!
