Sorry for the late post but I have been playing and having fun in my stamp room today!
I wanted to break out of my mold of using sketches to create cards and have noticed several sites with color challenges. I decided to combine some color challenges with some sketch challenges to create my cards. You will see my creations over the next few days. I have also had some fun using some of my open ended line images to create backgrounds.
I discovered a color site several months ago through another blog (can’t remember which blog). This one is based on creating color themes. In exploring the site I found an entry title Stained Wood by The Colorcat. I loved this color combination and decided to use it.
I decided to combine the color combination with Amy’s sketch challenge from last Friday. I did modify the ribbon and used a strip of ribbon without the bow. This was due to fact that my main image took more space than planned and there was no room for the bow. I love how this card turned out. Here is the sketch, my card, and the inside of the card.

So what do you think? I love the background but you can’t see much of it. I just may have to use the background again on another card. Thanks for looking and have a great evening!

Loved this card. Just absolutely beautiful, so feminine and delicate. The colors, layout, stamps used were a wonderful combination. Sandy
The card turned out great!! I love the colors and the dimension! Thanks for playing Robbie! 🙂
Love this card Robbie – it’s gorgeous and I love the 3D effect of the flowers.
The colours are so pretty and feminine – a really beautiful card!
Hi Robbie, forgot to say that I’ll check on those gold daisy peel-off stickers you asked about on my blog. I’ll let you know the brand if I can find it. Cheers!
