Splitcoast Tea Party

I spent a lot of time in my craft room on Sunday. I am going to visit my daughter next weekend and we are planning on doing some apple festivals. I wanted to take some cards with me to put together for Thanksgiving to send to Operation Write Home (formerly Cards for Heros) and Chris (my son-in-law). So I cut the paper, stamped the pieces, and picked out sentiments and ribbon to take with me and I will put them together during the day while my daughter is working. I can then mail them out from up there so they get them in time.

I also made 2 cards one for today and one for later this week. Today’s card uses the sketch from Splitcoast Stampers for last Wednesday. I wanted to make a card where the sentiment was the main focus of the card rather than an image. I combined it with the Tea Party DS paper. Here is the sketch and my creation.
