Spring Card Making
Hello Everyone ~ I was in the mood for some Spring Card Making for my creation today.
I love the change of seasons as I use those to affect the colors I use in my card making. During the Spring I find I use the Subtles and Brights Collection more than any other colors. The bold bright and soft colors are perfect for creating Spring cards. Those colors are also great for creating interesting backgrounds.
Today’s card was inspired by one of the photos from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Paper Crafting Challenges Inspiration Photo.
I could not resist combining the bold and soft colors for the background of my card. I sponged on 3 different colors of ink to mimic the background from the photo. After that I just had to create all the other elements of the card. Here is my idea for today’s Spring Card Making creation.
Behind the Scenes
- Daisy Lane
- Butterfly Gala
- card base ~ Magenta Madness – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and scraps for stamping and punching
- So Saffron ~ scraps for stamping and punching
- White ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Black organdy glittered ribbon
- Blending Brushes
- Medium Daisy punch
- Butterfly Duet punch
- rhinestones
The daisy pairs well with other designer series paper as in this video for an all occasion card idea.
This beautiful card uses a gold hoop for added interest.
Here is the Product List of supplies used for today’s creation.
