Springtime Foils designer series paper Mother’s Day

Good Morning Everyone ~ How about a Springtime Foils designer series paper Mother’s Day card?

Well I took it easy yesterday since I was not feeling well.  Today I really need to get it in high gear as I have to get the house organized.  I have some more packing to do that needs to be done.  I also still have some things to post to sell.  So much to do and so little time!  I guess I need to go back to my list of 3 tasks I am going to accomplish today!

Our challenge this time at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a sketch challenge.

Do you realize Sale-a-bration ends at the end of this week?  You only have a few more days to get those items that you cannot live without.  Let me know if you need my help!  Today I am going to tempt you with some more of the beautiful Springtime Foils dsp.  For my card today I used the paper to make this Mother’s Day card.  You can change the sentiment and make it a Birthday card or even a Thinking of You card if that is what you need.  I took a piece of the polka dot foils paper and smooshed it int my stamp pad.  I then flipped it around and did the other half.  I set this aside for the ink to soak into the paper.  Taking a piece of the flowered foil dsp and my Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz marker I colored in the flowers and the leaves.  I went back to the polka dot piece and using a soft paper towel I wiped off the excess ink.  This piece was then mounted onto a Very Vanilla card base (I should have used a Whisper White card base but that is what happens when you craft and you are not feeling well).  The paper towel was used to also wipe off the excess ink on the flowers and the leaves of the flowered dsp.  I used some retired Blushing Bride baker’s twine and wrapped it around my panel twice.  This panel was added to the card base using dimensionals.  Using the baker’s twine I made a multi loop bow and attached it the the panel using a glue dot.  For my sentiment I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and stamped and embossed the sentiment.  The ends were flagged and dimensionals were used to attach it to the card panel.  Here is the completed Springtime Foils designer series paper Mother’s Day card.
