Stampin’ Up A Little Wild

Hello Stampers ~ wait until you see my adorable Stampin’ Up A Little Wild creation today!

Well yesterday was much more calmer than the day before.  I am glad as I needed a break from all the craziness.  I had a photographer come to the house to take pictures for the listing.  Then Bijou had a spa appointment.  When I got back from her appointment I went into my craft room as I needed to make today’s card and my video for tomorrow.  I got them completed and had some time to relax a little.  Today I am going to the yarn shop and do not have any plans after that.  I may try to organize my craft supplies a little so I can move the things I won’t use very often upstairs to a closet.  I will also probably play in my craft room.

Today I wanted to play with some of the Animal Expedition designer series paper.  This is one paper you should try before you buy by purchasing one of my Mixed Bag‘s for it.  This is beautiful paper and not what you would expect.  I do not have the stamp set that is part of the suite but will be ordering it.  I could see this paper used with other stamp sets so keep your eye out for those cards.  I began by choosing this adorable bird paper.  I wanted to use the cute elephant in A Little Wild so I stamped it and colored it.  I went searching for a cute sentiment as this will be sent to one of the girls.  Colorful Seasons had a perfect one so I stamped it in Blueberry Bushel.  I mounted this on a piece of the 2018 – 2020 In Color designer series paper in the Blueberry Bushel striped.  My card base is Blueberry Bushel and I mounted the piece of Animal Expedition onto the front.  The stamped image layer was added to the In Color designer series paper and then added to the card front using dimensionals.  To finish off my card, I added a silver heart enamel shape and some glitter enamel dots.  Here is my completed creation.
