Hello Everyone ~ Wait until you see my cute Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Giraffe creation!
I will be doing some more unpacking today. I have to find time to schedule a meeting with the builder so we can start finalizing the contract. I also need to check out my property as Barb told me they think my house is too close to the road and could be moved back some. I need to see if that will work or not. I am hoping it was a mistake and that we can move it back. I also need to get pictures so I can document the construction in a scrapbook. So much to do and so little time.
We have an inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
When I saw this picture I saw lots of leaves and the giraffes so I decided to use that idea for my card today. I began by embossing a Crumb Cake panel with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. This was then attached to Crumb Cake card base using Tear & Tape. Using the May Flowers, Bouquet Bunch, and the Animal Friends thinlits I cut a bunch of the various leaves out using Garden Green and Old Olive card stock. I then used So Saffron card stock to stamp the giraffes using Soft Suede ink. The coordinating framelits were used to cut them out. Now it was time to create my scene. I began my attaching the larger leaves using glue dots. I also used glue dots to attach the leaves from the Bouquet Bunch thinlits. My 2 giraffes were added using dimensionals. To fill in the bottom of the card and make it look like the giraffes were behind trees, I added lots of the Animal Friends thinlit leaves using Multipurpose liquid glue. When I was done it needed something so I stamped the sentiment using Soft Suede ink and fussy cut around the words. The sentiment was attached using dimensionals. Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Giraffe creation.
