Hello Ladies ~ I have a Pool Party Stampin’ Up Beautiful Day Butterfly for you today.
Well the septic lid has been replaced! That means the only thing left is the crawl space. That is supposed to be completed on Monday. The had it scheduled for the other day but fell behind. They have me rescheduled for Monday. We are getting down to the wire as they don’t have much time before closing. All work has to be done while I am here so it will be interesting to see if they show up on Monday or push it back again. I hope they get it done on Monday as time is running out. The movers are scheduled to be here on Wednesday. I will then clean the house and I have to sign my papers on Thursday. I can’t believe it is finally here. It seems like it has taken so long. After next week I will be able to relax a little and take it easy.
I decided to play with the butterfly in Beautiful Bouquet. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I then used alcohol markers to color it in. I started taking a Copic marker class several months ago and had to put it on hold when I put the house on the market. I tried to use some of what I learned in the class to color the butterfly. I am hoping to get back to that class and my Prismacolor pencil class also. I am thinking once I get in North Carolina and finalize all the plans for the house I will have some time to be able to do both. After I had the butterfly colored, I cut the paper down and mounted it onto a piece of Pool Party card stock. I used a panel of Whisper White and embossed it with the Softly Falling embossing folder. Some of the Pool Party shimmer ribbon was added to the side and the butterfly panel was added using dimensionals. This panel was mounted onto a Pool Party card base using Tear& Tape. To finish off my Stampin’ Up Beautiful Day Butterfly a bow was added. Here is the completed creation.
