Stampin’ Up Beauty of Friendship Masculine
Hello Everyone – are you ready to see the Stampin’ Up Beauty of Friendship Masculine creation?
We all struggle with masculine cards. I chose to design and share masculine cards on Monday. Since this time of year is very busy I also chose to do a clean and simple card.
I wanted to come up with a quick and easy masculine card and the Beauty of Friendship stamp set had the image I needed to do that.
I wanted a card and it had to be quick as I had a lot get done in a short amount of time. After thinking about it I decided to so some ink blending and stamp my image on top.
I used Balmy Blue for my blending. After I created the soft background in the lower left hand corner, I stamped the bare tree using Early Espresso in the center of the blended area.
Since I was hoping to create a Winter scene I used the Wink of Stella pen to trace over the tree. This added some sparkle so that the tree glistens like on a cold frosty morning.
For my sentiment I used the Poinsettia Petals and masked off the bottom of the stamp. I inked it up in blue and removed my post it note and stamped the sentiment. Don’t forget to remove the post-it note or you will have a mess. That has happened to me many times!
I wanted more frosty bits so I used the Opal rounds and sprinkled them on. The same technique was used for the inside of the card and the envelope.
