Stampin’ Up Blueberry Bushel Beautiful Day

Hello Everyone ~ ready for a Stampin’ Up Blueberry Bushel Beautiful Day card?

I had a very productive day yesterday.  I had my appointment and my conference call, vacuumed my house, and made some videos and cards.  I was pleased.  Today I am headed to the yarn store.  It has been a while since I have been there as Mary has been out of town.  I am looking forward to seeing her and doing some knitting.  I then have the girls in the evening as Jess has a work function.  I think I am going to pick them up and surprise them by going to Chick-fil-A for dinner and some play time.  It will be a fun time for all!

Are you in love with the new In Colors?  I think the bright bold colors are fun to play with and lend themselves to a variety of styles and themes.  Are you wanting to order all the products in the color but cannot spend that much money at once?  Well I have your solution!  My In Color Club allows you to order the colors and all the products coordinate with that color!  As part of my club you will receive a package of card stock, the ink pad, the marker, and the designer series paper for one of the new In Colors.  All this plus a goodie bag for an affordable price each month.  Make sure you don’t miss this opportunity!  Sign up for the In Color club here!  Join the many members who are going to get each of the colors in an economical way!

Today I am featuring Blueberry Bushel.  This beautiful blue color is just one of the new In Colors.  It is a gorgeous medium blue that looks like a lighter navy.  It will be perfect to pair with our other colors.  For my card I began by using the Petal Pair embossing folder to emboss the left side of the Whisper White panel.  I added a piece of the Blueberry Bushel grosgrain ribbon down the left side.  This panel was added to the Blueberry Bushel card base.  Next a piece of Shimmery White card stock was used to emboss the butterfly from Beautiful Day using Versmark, Memento Tuxedo Black, and clear embossing powder.  Once I had it embossed, I added some Blueberry Bushel ink to an acrylic block and then used a blender pen to color in the butterfly.  To get the different colors, I would pick up color with the blender pen and color one section.  Then I would color the next section without getting more ink causing the ink to be very light.  I continued in this manner until the butterfly was colored.  Snips were used to cut it out.  It was added to the card base using dimensionals in the middle.  To finish off the card, I added some small pearls down the body.  Here is the Stampin’ Up Blueberry Bushel Beautiful Day creation.
