Stampin’ Up By the Bay Crabs
Hello Everyone – love it when I can create a quick and easy card like this Stampin’ Up By the Bay Crabs idea.
I was in my studio working yesterday and realized I needed a card for today. Since I had not played with the By the Bay suite much, and it is the Monday Focus for the next 2 weeks, I decided to play with it. I opted for a simple layout and came up with this idea.

Look at those crabs! Since I am from Maryland I wanted a way to make a blue crab which Maryland is know for. I played around a few years ago when we had another set with a crab to get the coloring to mimic a blue crab. I came up with a combination that I think works well. Check out the ones I stamped and die cut for today’s card.
The pattern paper in this collection does a great job of giving the feeling of the beach. I also love the gold and pearl foiling used on it. The pattern used for this card has pearl foiling. Adds a touch of bling!
I am just starting to play with this suite and I am loving it. I have a card I did that shows the versatility of this set. Check out this sympathy card idea.
