Happy Monday Everyone ~ I have a fun Stampin’ Up Dandelion Hello creation for you today.
Well Michaela and Josh got here yesterday afternoon. We had dinner and then I took them for a ride to see some of the area. They loved the new super huge Harris Tetter’s. We then came back and chilled. Jess and the girls got here much later as they had a party to go to in the afternoon. Not sure what we are going to do today. They want to see downtown New Bern and Atlantic Beach. We will probably decide when everyone gets up. What ever we do it will be a fun day.
I saw this idea online from another demonstrator. I thought it was perfect for a quick and easy card so I decided to make my version. I began by mixing White embossing powder with Hologram Highlights embossing powder which retired a few years ago. I then too the embossing buddy and wiped it across the strip of Rococo Rose. The 3 dandelion image was stamped using Whisper White craft ink down the panel. I then sprinkled on my embossing powder mixture and heat set it. I cut two 3/4″ strips of Sparkle Glimmer paper. Using Tear & Tape I attached one of the Sparkle Glimmer paper close to the left hand side of the card front. The dandelion strip was attached next right next to the Sparkle Glimmer paper. The other strip of Sparkle Glimmer paper was attached with Tear & Tape next to the dandelion strip. The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White using Rococo Rose ink. It was then punched out using the 1 1/2″ circle punch. A 1 3/4″ circle punch was used with the Sparkle Glimmer paper to make a circle. The 2 circles were attached to each other using glue dots. The sentiment layer was then added to the card front using dimensionals. Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Dandelion Hello creation.
