Happy Monday Everyone ~ how about a Stampin’ Up Dandelion Wishes Valentine idea today?
Well I had a relaxing day yesterday. I did not do a lot which was nice. I was able to relax and spent some time working on my upcoming Exclusively Cards class. I went down to the house the other day and decided to make a video of my craft room and talk to you about my thinking and planning during the designing stage. Here is the video with some explanation of my plans for the room.
Costa at Creative Stampers and I are at it again. We have decided to do a series on our blogs titled 12 Days of Valentines. We have each created Valentine cards or projects with a Valentine theme. Over the next 12 days we will be sharing them on our blogs. For my shares I chose to focus on the All My Love designer series paper. I don’t have need for many Valentine cards so I did not order any of the stamp sets. I did however order the paper as it looked very pretty in the catalog. This paper is much prettier in person. I am glad I ordered it. I have decided to pair this paper with stamp sets I already have so that I can extend the use of my supplies. For this card I used the flower design and added it to a Flirty Flamingo card base. I then used a the Dandelion Wishes stamp set for my main image and sentiment. I think this sentiment is very appropriate for Valentine’s Day. To add some interest to the background I used the dots in Beauty Abounds to create a bokeh effect. This piece was added to the card front. To finish it off I added a large rhinestone in the center of the Dandelion. Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Dandelion Wishes Valentine.

Well, LOVE the craft room. You’ve got good ideas. I think they will work for you.
I also LOVE this valentine card. I need to use this stamp set more.
Love the card! I didn’t even know those dots were in the Beauty Abounds set. Awesomely noted 🙂 Thank you!
I love those dots Kim. They are perfect for just the right accent.
