Hello Everyone ~ How about a Stampin’ Up Fancy Fold Handmade Card today?
Well I had a great weekend! I was able to get several mini album pages designed. I also finished half of the special project for Jess and the girls completed. I ran out of black card stock so I had to stop. I will be ordering more of that this week. As promised, here are some pictures from the weekend.
We began with lunch on Friday which I forgot to take a picture of. We had salad, fish tacos, chili, mexican rice, and apple chirros.
Dinner and dessert on Friday ~ salad, garlic and lemon shrimp, spaghetti, broccoli with cheese, garlic toast, cheery pie and ice cream.
Breakfast Saturday ~ yogurt with blueberries and almond slivers, watermelon, scrambled eggs and bacon, and hash browns.
Lunch on Saturday ~ salad, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, french fries, pumpkin soup, and warm chocolate chip cookies.
Dinner and dessert on Saturday ~ salad, risoto, lemon string beans, flank steak, crab cake, and strawberry shortcake
For some reason my photos from today did not take. For breakfast we had yogurt with blueberries and granola, omelits, sausage, and homemade bisquit. Lunch was salad, hamburger sliders, chili, pasta salad, and sweet potato pie. So as you can see we ate well. We had a personal chef all weekend so we did not have to fix any meals or do any cleaning up. Well worth the money to be able to relax and enjoy our time!

Ok, on to my card. I saw a fancy fold card on one of my Stampin’ Up forums. I liked it but decided to modify it. The one I saw had vellum over the cut outs and a battery tea light behind it. I opted for no vellum and to hang some daisies in the cut out. You begin with a regular fold card base and add another piece of card stock on the inside to form the box. I created my box and when I knew it would work, I then used the layering squares to cut out my openings. The daisies were created with a piece of fishing wire sandwiched between the front and back daisy. This fishing wired was hung from the back of the top panel so the flower swings freely. Then all I had to do was add my dsp panels. To show the versatility of the Labels to Love stamp set and coordinating punch which is used on my monthly Creations of the Month you can find here I used them with another stamp set for the sentiment. Here is the outside of the Stampin’ Up Fancy Fold Handmade card.
Here is the inside of the card so you can see the fancy fold with the daisy hanging freely.
