Hello Stampers ~ how about a simple but pretty Stampin’ Up Floral Essence With a Stencil creation today?
I am headed to another demo’s house today for a play date. We are going to play with some new items as a few techniques. I am looking forward to this to see how these new to me techniques will turn out. I am hoping to make a bunch of backgrounds that I can use for my cards or patterns I can use to punch or die cut images out of. I will make sure I share what we are able to do with you.
I ran across a couple of challenges I wanted to try. The first one was a color challenge for a light pink, dark pink and dark green. The other was to use a stencil on your card. I also found a sketch that I knew would work with these challenges. All of the challenges had closed but I decided to use them for my card today anyway. For the color challenge I used Blushing Bride for the light pink, Melon Mambo for the dark pink, and Mossy Meadow for the dark green. I chose to use the brick wall stencil and Sahara Sand to add just a small amount to a Whisper White panel for some interest. I stamped the flowers using the 2 pinks and fussy cut them out. Then using the fern die I cut out 3 using the Mossy Meadow card stock. The flowers were added to the panel using dimensionals. The ferns were attached using glue dots. This panel was added to a Melon Mambo card base. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Floral Essence With a Stencil card.
