Stampin’ Up Flowing Flowers Just a Note
Hello Everyone – check out how I used a new stamp set with retiring pattern paper on my Stampin’ Up Flowing Flowers Just a Note creation.
The Flowing Flowers stamp set will be in the upcoming Jan – June mini. I love the flowers in this stamp set so I wanted to see if I could pair it with the Harvest Meadow pattern paper that will retire on January 3rd.
This pattern is perfect for this stamp. Check out how I paired the 2 together.
I found a sketch I was interested in and decided to flip it and use it for my card today. There was a tag on the sketch and I didn’t have the tag punch they used so I pulled out out my Label Me Lovely punch and use it to make the top of my tag.
Here are all the details so you can make your version of the Stampin’ Up Flowing Flowers Just a Note.

Here are the step-by-step directions for today’s card.
- fold and burnish the card base
- add the pattern paper to the White layer
- add the layered pattern paper to the bottom of the card base front leaving about 1/8″ on sides and bottom
- take the 2″ x 3 7/8″ piece of White and using the scalloped edge of the Label Me Lovely punch and insert theWhite into the punch from the center so you can punch just the top edge – punch to give it a decorative top
- stamp the flower image onto the tag you created
- add it to the card front using dimensionals
- tie a bow using the Misty Moonlight cotton ribbon (retired)
- to stamp the sentiment, use the Misty Moonlight marker to ink up just the first word and stamp it on the scrap of White
- clean stamp and ink up the middle word and stamp it in the middle underneath of the first word stamped
- clean stamp and ink up the last word and stamp it in the middle underneath the other words
- add the sentiment to the card front just under the tag using dimensionals – see photo above
To carry the theme to the inside of the card and the envelope, I used the same image for stamping.
Tags are a great way to add interest to your cards. This idea also uses pattern paper for the card front. This cute little punch is perfect for the small flower image.
