Hello Stampers ~ I used a Christmas set for my Stampin’ Up Hearts Come Home Warmth creation.
I had a fun time in my Facebook Live last night. I showed how you can find inspiration anywhere. I showed a card I made based on a top in a clothing magazine. Then I used a dress in the same magazine to create a card Live. I love how it turned out and will be adding a sentiment and a ribbon to finish it and will post it in my Facebook Group. I am converting over to a group so that others can share when you are inspired by my idea from the Facebook Live. Look for the new group on Facebook. It may come up a couple of times and you want to choose the group one rather than the page. I would love to see you join the new group as I will be posting all my shares in the group rather than the page. I will be using the page to advertise my classes and specials. Come on over and join me!
I will be working on some videos this weekend as I need some more 10 Minute Creation videos. I need to do some exploring to see what I can come up with. I look for sketches and other things that might inspire me for my creation. If you have an idea you want me to use send it my way and I will see what I can do.
I cannot believe I had this card created a week ago and had started this post and then slowly missed posting it. This is for the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge.
I really liked how my card turned out so you would think I would have remembered to post it. I guess it is better late than never. I was not sure what I wanted to do for my card with these colors. I did not want to do flowers so I started looking through my catalog. I saw the Hearts Come Home stamp set and decided to try it. I began by sponging the Smoky Slate at the bottom in a hill shape (I created the hill shape by cutting some post it notes and setting them down). Once I had my hill formed I pulled out the houses and stamped them in Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. I used the stars and stamped them in Pool Party and Daffodil Delight across the top of the card stock in a swoosh style pattern. To finish off my panel I took the sentiment and masked off the words I did not want, inked the stamp up with Pool Party, and pulled off the post it note and stamped it at the top of the panel. I added a bow of linen thread then the panel was attached to a Smokey Slate card base. Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Hearts Come Home Warmth creation.
