Hello Everyone – I have been designing my cards for my August classes and the Stampin’ Up Let’s Set Sail Best Day was one I decided not to use.

I did not think I needed the Let’s Set Sail bundle in the new annual catalog since I had the recently retired set with the sailboats in it but boy was I wrong! From the moment I started playing with it I loved how this sailboat was so different from the other one. I designed numerous cards and then chose the best for the class. Here is an idea that I chose to post on my blog.

This clean and simple idea is a great card for encouragement. The Stampin' Up Let's Set Sail Best Day creation is a fun layout using a plaid pattern paper.

The Let’s Set Sail bundle had a punch making it easy to create great cards even if you don’t have a die cutting machine. Look at all the great images in this stamp set.

I had to use the sailboat to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.

This was a new set for me to play with. Since I don’t have any other samples to share with you using this set. I did find this idea that you could recreate using this new stamp set. How about using the Border Basic Dies with this bundle to make an updated version of this card.
