Stampin’ Up Merriest Frames for Halloween
Hello everyone – I watched a video on You tube where the creator used a poinsettia die to make a Halloween flower and I knew I could use the idea for today’s Stampin’ Up Merriest Frames for Halloween creation.
We are up to week 9 for the 12 Weeks of Halloween. I thought it would be fun to give you a different idea for today. This card was inspired by a You Tube video I watched and decided to give it a try. I had a lot of fun working with the dies and punches to come up with these different colored flowers.
I have used these dies to create lots of Christmas cards. I love the fact that I can use them for other times of the year.
I learned so many new techniques with creating these flowers. I used some of the Metallic Mesh ribbon behind the top flower and also created a bow using the White baker’s twine and tucked it behind the flower too. Pulled in some of Black glitter paper for the leaves. Check out all the detail!
The main flower was created with the Merriest Frames but the other flower used the Flowers and Leaves punch. I pulled out my Paper Pumpkin for the sentiment as I do not have Halloween sentiments. What do you think of these fun colors for a different Halloween card?
I have used the Merriest Frames dies for a variety of flowers. This card has some white poinsettias. I used the same dies paired with the stamps to make the pink clematis on this card. So excited to find other ways to use these dies.
