This has been one of my favorite bundles to use from the July – December mini catalog. I think that little penguin is so cute!

I wanted a clean and simple card and knew a simple pattern paper and the Wonderful Snowflake would be the perfect products to use with the cute penguin.

Let’s Make it

  • fold and burnish the card base
  • add the white layer making sure to center it

  • use Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp the penguin onto the scrap of white
  • stamp the beak using Pumpkin Pie
  • punch the penguin out using the coordinating punch
  • stamp the hat and scarf onto the scrap of white using Shaded Spruce
  • fussy cut the hat and scarf leaving a tab on the bottom of the hat to make it easier to attach to the penguin’s head
  • add the hat to the penguin using a glue dot (see photo above)
  • add the scarf to the penguin using some glue (see photo above)
  • punch the feet out of Pumpkin Pie card stock and add to the penguin using glue dots

That penguin looks so cut stamped on the inside of the card and the envelope. Gives a clue as to what the recipient will find inside.
