Stampin’ Up Penguin Place Bundle

Stampin’ Up Penguin Place Bundle

Hello Everyone – Don’t you just love the Stampin’ Up Penguin Place Bundle?

My whole day got rearranged yesterday when the vet called and changed my appointment from today to yesterday. That means I will be spending the day cleaning my house and setting up for my class tomorrow. Don’t you love it when your plans get changed!

This week I have been cramped for time to craft. When that happens I look at my challenge blogs for color challenges and sketch challenges to take some of the guess work out my designing. I found a great sketch at online that I decided to use.

I thought this would be great to use the Be Dazzling specialty paper with the Penguin Place bundle. The Sale-a-bration free Penguin Playmates pattern paper has a blue striped paper that I thought would be the perfect background for a punched penguin.

To make the penguin I used the Black glitter paper and the White Velvet paper. They look so great punched and paired to make a penguin. To give the impression of snow I used the Checks & Dots embossing folder to add the dotted background. Totally realized as I was writing this I could have swiped the White pad over the dots to highlight them some.

I scattered some Silver pearls on the background for added interest. I modified the sentiment as I think Zoie will like this card so I will send it to her. Here is my Stampin’ Up Penguin Place Bundle card.
