Hello Ladies ~ I finally got a chance to play with the Stampin’ Up Postcard Pals stamp set!
Well I will be cleaning today. My home is on the realtors caravan tomorrow so I am cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting today. Not that the house is dirty as I have to make sure it is always clean for the showings but I want to make sure it is extra clean for tomorrow. After the cleaning I will be in my craft room making some videos. The weather is going to get hot and humid again so it will be a great day to be inside. I do need to get to the grocery store sometime in the next few days. What plans do you have for today?
I recently ordered the Postcard Pals stamp set. I saw so many cute cards online that I just had to order the set to make cards for the girls. The Postcard Pals is the next set on my Catalog Journey so this was perfect. I just love the cute chipmunk in this set. He is standing at his mailbox with a letter in his hands. I thought he would be perfect to use with the designer series paper that has writing all over it that you can find in the Share What You Love designer series paper. I cut a piece of the designer series paper and mounted it onto a Basic Black card base. I stamped the adorable chipmunk using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then used ink in the lid and a blender pen to color the image. The Stitched Shapes framelits were used to cut out the image. I then used the Layering Squares framelits to cut out a larger piece of Rich Razzleberry. The 2 squares were layered and then added to the front of the card base using dimensionals. To finish off the card I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set and stamped it in Rich Razzleberry. The Classic Label punch was used to punch it out and then it was added to the card base using dimensionals. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Postcard Pals.
