Happy Monday Everyone ~ I played with a bold stamp for my Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration Beautiful Day card for today.
Well the painters are coming back today to do the great room. That is the last room that needs to be painted. I will be glad to have it finished. Then I start the process of finishing my organizing to get the house back in order. It will take me a while as I will have to unpack my crafting supplies and get them organized to use over the next few months. I have started some ways to organize it that I will share with you later this week.
I wanted to make my cards for the next couple of days yesterday morning before I went to my craft day. I checked out a few challenge blogs and saw the sketch challenge at Paper Craft Crew Challenge blog.
In looking at the sketch I noticed the subtle background. I decided to check out my designer series paper and opted for the True Gentleman dsp. I chose this paper as I wanted to show that even though this paper is designed for guys you can make it feminine. I cut my dsp and attached the corduroy ribbon on the top using Tear & Tape. This piece was added to a Tranquil Tide card base. Using a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the flower from the stamp set and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Using reinkers I colored the flower and leaf. Once it was dry, I cut it our. It was added to the card using dimensionals. My Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration Beautiful Day card is complete.
