Stampin’ Up Special Moments Happy Birthday
Happy Monday Everyone – I have a masculine idea for you today with my Stampin’ Up Special Moments Happy Birthday share.
We have many current products that work well with new products. In today’s card I used current In Good Taste pattern paper with new Sale-a-bration Simply Marbleous pattern paper for this masculine birthday card.

With the New Year we need to be prepared for the upcoming birthdays in the coming months. Having a stash of birthday cards is a great way to have the cards you need when the event comes around. The 2022 Sale-a-bration choices has a great stamp set with a script birthday greeting. It also has some sentiments that can be used on the inside of your card.

We have a few pattern papers that are good for masculine cards. I got the Simply Marbleous pattern paper free with my preorder. I love showing you how you can use new papers with current papers. The Smoky Slate marble paper pairs perfectly with the stone wall paper in the In Good Taste collection.
I wanted another color that I could use for the Stampin’ Up Special Moments Happy Birthday masculine card so I pulled in some Soft Succulent pattern paper. For the die cut I used the Forever Flourishing dies and did some surgery to cut off some of the branches.

Measurements for the Stampin’ Up Special Moments Happy Birthday card
Card Base: Smoky Slate 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

Let’s make it!
- fold and burnish your card base
- add the marble pattern paper to the card front
- attach the stone wall pattern paper to the Basic Gray
- glue the stone wall panel to the card front about 1/2″ from the left side of the card base
- stamp the sentiment using Soft Succulent ink onto the White strip
- add the sentiment layer to the Soft Succulent strip
- glue the Soft Succulent pattern paper to the back of the sentiment panel leaving about 1/2″ below the bottom of the sentiment panel
- attach the sentiment panel you created above to the card front so it is centered top and bottom and even with the pattern paper on the right hand side
- die cut the leaf spray from the scrap of Soft Succulent
- cut the bottom stem on the right hand side of the leaf spray, see photo above
- add dimensionals to the larger leaves on the leaf spray and add to glue the leaf stem
- glue the leaf spray to the left side of the sentiment layer, see photo above
I used a stamp from the Forever Fern stamp set to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
