Stampin’ Up Sunflowers Dies
Hello Everyone – here is a clean and simple card using the Stampin’ Up Sunflowers Dies.
Using dies, pattern paper, and an embossing folder you can create this sunflower card.
I had a craft fair the past 2 days but a Facebook Live. I saw a card online and decided to make my version of it. The first step was to die cut a sunflower from Bumblebee card stock. Then I cut a rectangle from the upper part of the front panel.
The next step was to emboss the panel. I chose to use the Brick & Mortar embossing folder. You have to die cut before you emboss as if you die cut after you emboss you will flatten your embossing.
The background in the opening can be anything so I pulled several different papers I had and let the ladies in the Facebook Live choose what I used. One of the ladies wanted to see it with the Sweet Symmetry pattern so I cut a piece to go in the opening.
To assemble the card I added dimensionals to the back of the panel and added it to the card front. To highlight the sunflower, I used a sponge dauber and Soft Suede to color the center of the flower. It was then glued to the card front over the opening.
This design is an easy one and could be used with a variety of die cuts. What would you use to make your version?
One of my favorite cards with the Stampin’ Up Sunflowers dies is this black and white idea. I love the coloring on this sunflower – so pretty.
