Hello Stampers ~ check out my Stampin’ Up This Little Piggy card for a cute children’s card.
Today Bijou has a spa appointment. She will be all clean and smelling good for our visitors this weekend. After that I am headed back home to work on moving my rugs around as my new rug is supposed to be delivered today. I want to have the one moved and set up before the other one arrives if at all possible. Sometime today I need to get to the grocery store to pick up some of groceries I need for this weekend. I will get the meats on Saturday or Sunday. I also want to spend some time working on more cards for my blog. I have several done for the next few days but want to have them completed through next Thursday so I can spend time with my girls. I have time before they get here late Sunday afternoon so I will be prepared.
I have a fun Children’s card for you today. I went looking for a sketch to play with and found a cute one at CAS Colours and Sketches .
I had not played with the This Little Piggy stamp set in a while so I decided to use it on my card today since it would be perfect for the rectangle. I began by stamping the cute pig with a daisy image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then used Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Petal Pink, and Soft Suede markers to color him in. Rather than add the sentiment on the strip on the side in the sketch, I opted to stamp it under the image using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. I mounted this panel onto a Crumb Cake panel. My card base is Petal Pink and the image panel was added using dimensionals. My Stampin’ Up This Little Piggy creation was compete.
