Stampin’ Up Work of Art

Hello Everyone ~ I have another black, white, and red card that uses the Stampin’ Up Work of Art set.

Well I managed to clean my grout on Tuesday afternoon.  I realized that Wednesday I had several appointments and would not have time.  So I started working on it on Tuesday and finished it up.  Now I just need to clean the cabinets with orange oil and everything is done.  Today I have some rugs being delivered that I had cleaned and wrapped for moving.  I then have a conference call and Bijou has a spa appointment.  I have a friend who is involved with the volcano eruption in Hawaii.  Her house has not been destroyed but she will never be able to live in it again as the area is unstable.  I want to make a card to send to her so I will work on that in between my appointments.  I also have to vacuum.  The list just keeps getting longer!

I am continuing with my retired product highlight.  Today I used some of the black and white dsp from the Petal Passion dsp for my background.  I love using black and white with a pop of color.  I am again using Real Red as it is perfect for this card.  The Work Of Art set will retire at the end of this month.  I have used this set for a variety of cards and today’s is another one to add to the collection.  I began by adding a piece of the polka dot dsp from the Petal Passion collection to a Real Red card base.  I then used the Work of Art set and the zig zag pattern and stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  This panel was mounted onto a piece of Real Red card stock then attached to the upper part of the card base.  Using another strip of Real Read, I punched a strip using the Decorative Ribbon border punch.  Dots of glue were added to the back of the strip and then it was added to the card base just under the zig zag strip.  To finish off the card I added some basic rhinestones to a few of the dots on the dsp.  Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Work of Art creation.
