Stampin’ Up’s Flower Shop

Happy Monday Stampers ~ I played with an older set for my card using Stampin’ Up’s Flower Shop card.

Well I got part of my pantry put back together.  I had purchased some shelf liner to protect my newly painted shelves.  I got 2 rolls thinking that was enough but it wasn’t.  I still need at least 2 more rolls.  I will try and get some this week so I can finish getting the pantry put back.  I also managed to get some videos made.  I also worked on my Creations of the Month for February.  I have one more card to design.  I hope to have that ready to go by Wednesday.

The other day I talked about how I had to rig up my videotaping due to the painting in my house.  I said I would share a picture.  Here is what my set up looked like until late last week.  As you can see I had to jury rig things up using a trash can for my light and using my tripod.  I am glad the paint is dry so I can go back to clamping my camera and lights!

I am trying something new today.  I took 3 colors from a challenge at Fab Friday  for my card today.

I began by stamping my flowers onto Melon Mambo and Powder Pink card stock.  The coordinating punch was used to punch out the stamped flowers.  A panel of Whisper White was embossed with the Layering Leaves embossing folder and then added to a Melon Mambo card base.  A 3/4″ strip of Sweet Sugarplum was attached to the bottom using Tear & Tape.  The punched flowers were added down the left hand side of the panel using dimensionals.  Clear faceted gems were added to the center of the flowers.  On a scrap of Whisper White, the sentiment was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then it was punched out with the 1 1/8″ scallop circle punch.  The sentiment was then added to the right hand side of the Sweet Sugarplum strip using a dimensional.  To finish off the card, some rhinestones  were added to have my bling!  Here is my completed Stampin’ Up’s Flower Shop card.

  1. Very pretty

  2. Pretty and clean design! Perfect use of those colors. Thanks for joining us at Fab Friday, hope to see you again soon!

  3. Gorgeous card…again, sorty that the painters did not complete their job, it is not fun being only partially set up and still have boxes and clutter around! Take good care and thanks for the card idea, I will probably use an old set with similar flowers and that coordinating punch! And the pic of your inspirations!

  4. Oh, this is perfect for our colors – I still go back to this set myself, lol. Love your inside and envelope details, too! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

  5. Very pretty! I don’t see enough of those faceted gems and they look lovely as the flower centers! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
