Star Birthday

Hello Ladies!

Well I made several videos yesterday as well as made a few projects for upcoming posts.  I would have gotten more done but I ran out of good light.  One of my lamps has the bulb blown out so I need to get a new one.  Even some of my photos last night were not clear so I need to take them today in the daylight.

My card today began with the sketch challenge at Match the Sketch Challenge

I thought I would use this sketch to make another birthday card for my card bin.  I began by looking for what I could punch to represent the 4 rectangles.  I settled on stars.  Then I had to determine my colors to go with the stars.  I chose to use Island Indigo – a color I don’t use very often.  All I needed was the flag.  I went searching through my stamps for a birthday one.  I ended up using Circle of Spring and only used Happy Birthday on the stamp by masking the other part off. I then flagged the end and mounted it on a piece of Island Indigo.  Here is what my final creation looked like.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be spending time in my craft room again today.  I will also take some time to do some knitting.  What are your plans?  Have a Sensational Sunday!
