Good Morning Everyone ~ Island Indigo can be used to create a beautiful Christmas card using Star of Light stamp set.
We are having a great time at Folly Beach. Zoie loves the water and spends the day jumping the waves. Remi has no fear and will take off for the waves and Jess is chasing after her. She loves to go out and also jump the waves. She has fallen several times and gone under but get up laughing and goes back at it. She swallowed a ton of water today! Here are few pics.
Last night we went for a walk after dinner. The sky was beautiful! Here are a couple of pictures I took.
Ok, now on to my card. A friend lent me her Star of Light stamp set and framelits so I could play a little with it. I began by stamping the large star with Island Indigo onto my piece of Whisper White layer. I also stamped the small star randomly on it. Using the matching framelits, I cut out the fancy star. I added Wink of Stella all over the star as well as my Island Indigo ombre ribbon ~ can’t have too much sparkle! Since I was working with the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, I used my glue dots to attach the stamped layer to the glimmer paper. Tear & tape adhered my ribbon to the layers. I used the glue dots again to attach the layers to the card base and the bow. Mini dimensionals were used to add the fancy star. Here is my completed creation.
