Step It Up Sunday – Simple Wonderful

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone will have a great day today.  What will you be doing – cooking a big meal, hiding Easter eggs, or having a quiet day at home?  I will be by myself for a few hours so I will be in my craft room.  When the kids get home we will fix a simple meal as they will have eaten a big meal earlier in the day.

Yesterday I shared a simple card I created using the color challenge at Colour Me…!

I combined it with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

To Step Up my card, I used a Soft Sky card base and added a white layer that I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  I then used a doily and a half circle of the patterned paper instead of just the patterned paper.  Here is my stepped up version of the card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I don’t know about you, but I am glad the weather is finally warmer.  Have a Sensational Easter Sunday!
