Sunday Ideas – Club Scrap Hooray 6 in 60 card kit
Hello everyone – I had another kit to play with and created the Sunday Ideas – Club Scrap Hooray 6 in 60 card kit.
I was drawn to the pattern paper in this kit. I love the bright colors on the black background. The colors are so bright and cheery that it makes it easy to use for birthday cards.
Today’s Project
Have you ever seen a kit and wondered what it is like and if it is worth the money? I had that same reaction when I saw the 6 in 60 kits at Club Scrap. I ordered 2 and today’s cards used the other kit. This one has 2 fancy folds also. This kit also has everything you need for the cards. I had some issues with cutting the pattern paper. I cut on score lines also so I had to modify some of the cards. The first card I was able to use a white card base and use the panels I had cut on the front. The other panel I cut to make layers for the cut-aparts.
For the second card which was a fancy fold, I used a white card base again. I had to modify the flap on this one as I cut it off. I used a scrap of the cardstock to create a flap so the panel would open and close on the card.
For the last card I had to get cardstock from my stash. The fold could not be made using a white card base and layering on the colored cardstock and pattern paper along with the cut-apart. It would have made the card too bulky. I could not find a lime green that looked ok with the pattern paper so I opted for a different green. I did not like the sentiments on the cut-aparts for the second card so I modified those also.

There are all kinds of kits. This one used decorative cards along with some gold elements to create simple card ideas. Some kits make multiples of the same card but you can find kits that make different cards like this one.
