Sunday ideas – playing with watercolors

Hello everyone – we all need to have a playdate and my Sunday ideas – playing with watercolors is one of the results of mine.
I was struggling with motivation so I decided to take some time and have a playdate. I chose to pull out my watercolor paper and reinkers to do some watercolor papers. My goal was to create background panels I could use to make cards.
Today’s Project
I chose several reinker colors to use together. Today’s colors were a purple and a turquoise. I dropped some reinker onto my glass mat and then added some water to mix them. I then dipped my watercolor paper into the mixture. I used my heat tool to dry the panel. I then dipped into the ink mixture again and dried it. I repeated this procedure until I was happy with the look.

I chose a flower image and sentiment to emboss with silver. To finish it off I added some silver gems.
