Sunday ideas – purple watercolor card

Hello everyone – see how to use a watercolor background that did not turn out well to make this Sunday ideas – purple watercolor card.
I played with my reinkers to create a watercolor background. Unfortunately I ended up with some blobs that I thought ruined the background. I struggled though and created a fun idea.
Today’s Project
This is another watercolor background idea I made when I was playing that I used for today’s card. When I did the background I had round circled of reinker that ended up with a blob on the watercolor paper. I thought it would be useless but I decided to see if I stamped the background if it would help integrate the blob into the background. I was surprised that it worked.

I had 2 blobs to deal with. I took the same stamp I used for the die cuts and the same ink I had used and stamped them on the background. I strategically placed them so the blob was part of the flower. To finish it off I added some ribbon and again strategically placed the bow to help hide some of the blog.

If you want some more control over your background, here is an idea you could try. Another way to use a background you are not happy with is to punch out a shape like the circle on this card.
