Happy Hump Day!
Wow I can’t believe it is Wednesday already. How have you fared with this record breaking heat. I have spent a lot of time indoors to avoid it.
This card was made for a shoebox swap at our monthly Stampin’ Up meeting we had last night. We are trying to plan a Stamp Camp but we are having trouble trying to find a place that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for rental. Not sure if this will be take place.
I used the sketch from Card Patterns. I have been in the mood to use some sunflowers on my cards lately so I went with that for this one. The saying was stamped then I free hand cut the wavy edges following the curve of the sentiment. Here is the sketch and my creation.
inside of card
Stamps: Curvy Verses Paper: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Summer Sun, white, Morning Greetings DS Accessories: Chocolate Chip – Summer Sun markers, 1/2″ – 5/8″ – scalloped circle punches, Spring Garden punch, ribbon (Jody’s online share), sticky tape, dimensionals
Hope you enjoyed today’s card and it has inspired you to put some sunflowers on your card. Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
Robbie

So cute! I love how the yellow pops off the kraft. Great colors and a great take on the sketch.
