Happy Extremely Frigid Tuesday to you!
The east coast is hit with the coldest weather we have had in 20 years. Most areas were below freezing last night. I am going to stay inside today and play! How about you?
My card today is for the CASE challenge at SUDSOL. Each week we are giving a picture of a card in either the catalog, mini, or our Stampin’ Success magazine. This week our card comes from our magazine.
When I looked at this the background said Smokey Slate. I pulled out that pad. It also has a few of the other colors scattered around the background. I knew I would have to do that also. The rest is pretty straight forward. I decided to try this with 2 different background stamps. I am sharing one with you today.
For this card I used the Swallowtail background stamp. I combined it with Gumball Green and Island Indigo. I colored in a few spots of the butterfly with my blender pen and ink in the lid technique. To get the lighter color, I offstamped the stamp 2 times to get the color I wanted. Here is what I created using this idea.

This is a very easy card to make. It would be a good one to mass produce and you can change the sentiment to be what ever you want. Thanks for visiting me today. I hope my card inspired you. Have a Terrific Tuesday and Stay Warm!

Love the butterflies inside the card – so cute after that big one on the front! Thanks for taking the CASE challenge this week!
