Happy Thanksgiving ~ I am sharing a great Sweet Friendship idea with you today.
Well I managed to find the 4 plug in lights I needed. I put 2 in my garage and 2 in my studio. That meant I still needed 12 battery operated window candles with a timer. I decided to search some more on the internet. I finally found a site that had one that I could live with. I did not want the LED lights as I wanted the soft light. The ones I found do have a LED light but they have 2 brightness settings. I also wanted one I could set the timer for about 4 hours and I could find the auto sensor that came on at dusk and off at dawn. Or I could find ones that had a 6 hour timer. Neither of those would work. The one I ended up ordering will allow me to set the timer to come on and I can run the light for 4 hours which is what I wanted. The light got good reviews so I took a chance. I should have them by the end of next week. Now that I have all that finalized, I can do some decorating tomorrow. I am hoping to get the inside finished and then I can work on the front porch on Friday.
My card today started out in one direction and then I ended up going in a different direction. I had cut out the leaves and mini flowers for a card where I had embossed and sponged on color. When I put the leaves and flowers on the background it looked horrible. So I decided to use the background for a card on Saturday and went in a different direction for this card. I took the leaves and glued them to a Whisper White panel. The panel was then embossed using the Tufted embossing folder. I dyed some of the Polka Dot tulle ribbon using the Gorgeous Grape reinker and alcohol. Then the ribbon was dry it was attached to the lower portion of the panel and the panel was then added to a Gorgeous Grape card base. The flowers were then glued to the leaves. I meant to add pearls to the center of the flowers but totally forgot. I will add them before I mail out the card. I wanted a sentiment so I found one in the Butterfly Wishes stamp set. The sentiment is one long stamp so I inked up half of the stamp using the Gorgeous Grape marker and stamped it onto a scrap of Whisper White. I cleaned my stamp and inked up the other half and stamped the second part of the sentiment underneath the first part. The Ornate frames were used to cut out the sentiment layer. One of the other frames was cut out using Gorgeous Grape and the sentiment was layered on top. The sentiment was then added to the upper right hand corner of the card base. To finish the card a bow was tied and added using glue dots. Here is my completed Sweet Friendship creation.

I have used that sentiment before with this Soft and Pretty Garden Lane Designer Series Paper Card. Here is an idea where I used the image from the set for a Feels Like Frost Butterfly Wishes creation. Don’t miss this card that also uses that fabulous card stock color with the Feminine All Occasion Greeting Card.
