Swirly Snowflakes Smile

Hello Everyone ~ My card today is a Swirly Snowflakes Smile creation.

Well we did get snow yesterday and it is supposed to snow all day today.  They changed the forecast as it was colder than they thought it would be.  It ended up that we were the bulls eye of the storm.  They are saying we will get 3 – 6″ before it is all over.  It was so beautiful as it was coming down.  The trees were covered and they were gorgeous.  It will be interesting to see who the rest of the winter goes as we usually do not get snow at this time of year.

I used that fabulous Snowflake embossing folder on my card today.  My December Creations of the Month features this folder.  I have enjoyed playing with it to create some great cards.  My card today was inspired by a card I saw online.  I began by taking my Whisper White panel and embossing it with the Winter Wonder embossing folder.  This was attached to a Dapper Denim card base using Tear & Tape.  Using a Silver Foil sheet and the Swirly Snowflakes edge die I cut out the strip of snowflakes.  Dots of glue were added to the back and it was set aside to set some.  I cut a piece of the Merry Music dsp and mounted it onto a little larger piece of Dapper Denim.  The sentiment from Colorful Seasons was stamped using Dapper Denim ink and mounted onto a piece of Dapper Denim card stock.  Dimensionals were added to the backs of the music layer and the sentiment layer.  The silver snowflake strip was added to the bottom of the Whisper White panel.  The next layer was the music layer.  The sentiment layer was the last layer added.  Here is my Swirly Snowflakes Smile card.
