Techno Technique Tuesday

Well today’s card did not turn out like I pictured it. I wanted to play with a technique I had used quite a while ago. I thought it would be fun to play with the Foxy Oxy technique at SCS. I thought this would make a good background for the sketch Mary Jo has at Techno Stamper.

I don’t know if my Oxy Clean was old or what but my background did not turn out like I pictured it. I used So Saffron ink for the Foxy Oxy technique. while it didn’t turn out like I pictured it doesn’t look as bad as I thought (to be honest it gets better looking as time goes on). I then used a second generation stamping of the swirl from Baroque Motifs. I then punched the edge with the scallop trim punch. I added my ribbon and attached it to my card.

Next I stamped my flowers and leaves from Vintage Vogue and cut them out. I mounted the leaves to the flower, put a brad in the center, and mounted them to the card with dimensionals. Since it was a dark card I created another Foxy Oxy panel for the inside. Here is the sketch and my creation.

Stampin’ Up Supplies
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Vintage Vogue Paper: Garden Green, white Ink: Garden Green, Regal Rose, Rose Red, So Saffron Accessories: gold brads, scallop trim border punch, sticky tape, dimensionals

Hope you enjoyed my card today. I would like to try different techniques to show you how easy it is to do them. Tomorrow I will be sharing an easy card so check back. I haven’t forgotten about the blog candy. I am looking for some goodies to include. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
