I decided to play along with Carole’Anne and Sandi’s 10 minute challenge. This week they had a color challenge.
I decided to try another unusual card front. This one actually has 2 flaps. I think that I was a little too ambitious as I was no where near finishing in 10 minutes (more like 30). Oh well, I like the card. The coral flap (it has the same large flower stamped on it but it does not show up very well in the pictures) is held closed with the petals of the flower. When you open that flap the banana flap opens to reveal a sentiment. I did clear emboss the leaves on the sage piece so they would pop. I used an aqua painter and ink in the lid to color the large flower. For the banana blossoms I used a marker and signo pen. Here is my more than 10 minute creation.
