Warning, long post with lots of pics!
Good Morning Stampers!
I had a great time with Zoie this weekend. She is now responding to you and I had great luck getting her to smile at me and move her mouth like she was talking to me. She grows more beautiful every day. Okay enough about my granddaughter time to talk about my creation for today.
We had a great challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. We had to create a card and a 3 D item. We did not have a theme so we were free to do anything.
Since I am not going to convention this tear, I am participating in a virtual convention. We have swaps and challenges and virtual roommates. I had signed up to do a swap and after 50 million questions about the regulations, I sent it off to the lady who is coordinating it. I realized on Saturday that I had not included my info or the card recipe. I e-mail her again and asked if she wanted me type them on a mailing label or write the info on a post-it note and send it to her. She told me to just type it up in a word document and send it to her. After several tries I ended up having to paste it in the message of an e-mail as she could not open my documents. With all that she did for me I felt I need to make her something and send it to her. That was my motivation for my project creation today – a gift for all she did for me.
Here is a picture of my entire creation including the card I will send her.
I began by making a little covered note pad. This is a simple note pad you can get anywhere and I just created a folder to keep it in.
Next I added a magnetic clip I have had for a long time. I bought it with the intention of altering it and this seemed like the perfect time. I added some ds paper and a stamped sentiment.
I then wanted a cute little shaped note pad for her purse so I pulled out one of my dies and cut out a flower from chipboard and paper. I covered the chipboard with ds paper then used the crop-a-dile to punch my hole and added a ring.
My last item was a simple covered legal pad.
Now I needed to create my card. I decided to use the flower punch that is similar to the large die I used for the purse note pad. The rest was decorated with the same ds paper I had used.

I hope you liked my project today. Head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments website to see what other awesome projects the other ladies created. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
