The weather has turned cooler for us and the thoughts of Thanksgiving are starting to settle into my head. This is a time of giving Thanks and I often think of my friends as I am thankful that they are a part of my life. So today’s card was made for a friend who has been with me through some tough times.
The challenge at Late Night Stampers is to create a Thanksgiving or Thanks card. It was perfect challenge for my card as I want to send this out to a very special friend. I combined it with the color 15 minute challenge at Stamp-a-holics.
I am happy to say I got this finished just as my timer went off so I have succeeded. Yeah!!!!!!!!
I used the sketch challenge at Cards & Things. Krista had this great sketch for us to use.
I did modify the sketch a little as I wanted to use the Herb Expressions set and the image fit better rotated. I also added a sentiment so that my friend would know how much I appreciate her friendship. Here is my creation.
I stamped the inside with the same image on the front but because I used River Rock ink like the card it was too subtle to show up. Hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
