Happy Mother’s Day!
I hope you have some fun plans for today. As mother’s we don’t often take care of ourselves and we need to. Today is a good day to take some time for yourself and rejuvenate so we are there for our families. I plan on taking some time to play and knit.
My card today is one of my favorite cards we made. I modified mine as I did not want my bench to be the patterned paper. The cardstock had been embossed and we then sanded the top off a little. I again modified mine and only sanded the top and left the bottom just embossed. I also rounded the side edges of my sentiment to mimic the curves of the flourish at the bottom. On the inside I used post-its to mask off the background while I colored the scroll work and sponged the bench. Here is my final card.
