The Paper Players – Animal print

Happy Friday Stampers!

Well another week down.  The weeks just seem to fly by lately.  Tomorrow is Jess’ birthday and unfortunately I have the craft fair and Chris has to work.  I think she and Zoie are going to the movies so they will have a Mommy – daughter date.  I am hoping Chris can get off work early and they can go out to dinner.

Today is the challenge at The Paper Plunge.  Our challenge this week is all about the County Fair.  This week our card needs to be based on the sights and things you might associate with a County Fair.  This could be a card with an animal on it, blue ribbons, animal print paper, or apple pie.  Lots of choices so the field is wide open for your creating.

I decided to go with animal print paper.  I recently got the Go Wild designer series paper stack and knew I wanted to use this paper for the challenge.  I looked through the stack and decided on the piece I would use for my card.  Since the paper is busy, I decided to just add a sentiment and let the paper take center stage.  I found the perfect sentiment in the You’ve Got This stamp set. I stamped it and layered it on some punched card stock.

I had wanted to use black ribbon.  I went looking for my black satin stitched ribbon but could not find it.  I know I bought some but could not find it anywhere.  I am sure it will show up next week!  I ended up using a retired taffeta ribbon I had.  Here is my final creation.

So what do you think of when you hear County Fair?  Grab your supplies and join us this week.  We would love to see what you would create.

Thanks for visiting me today.  What plans do you have for your day?  Take some time to play along with us!  Have a Fabulous Friday!
