The Paper Plunge – Butterfly Friend

Hello Everyone!

Well I got my Paper Pumpkin swap completed last night.  That leaves me with one swap left and I only need 6 cards for that one.  Then it is one to the pillow gifts.

Today is the challenge at The Paper Plunge.  This week our challenge is Tall and Skinny!  We were to create a card that did not fit the regular size cards.  I pulled out a business envelope as that is the best way to do a card and still be able to mail it with a regular stamp.

I had a strip of black embossed with the Hardwood stamp left over from my swaps.  I cut a piece off of it to go down the side of my card.  I had plans to use a different set but when I laid it out I did not like the look of it.  I decided to play with my new set Watercolor Wings.  I checked out some blogs for colors to stamp the butterflies with.  I found one that I liked the looks of on my computer but when I stamped it, I was not to sure about it.  You will have to let me know what you think.

After I cut the butterflies out I just needed a sentiment.  I found a good one in Sprinkles of Life and added it.  My card was done.  I had a hard time taking a picture of this for some reason.  Sorry my sentiment is blurred.  Here is what I created.

Make sure you head on over to The Paper Plunge blog  and check out what the other ladies created.  I saw some awesome projects in there when I added mine.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have some ladies coming to stamp today so we will have lots of fun!  Have a Fabulous Friday!
