The Paper Plunge – card candy

Happy Friday Everyone!

Well Jess had Zoie back at the doctor yesterday.  She has a double ear infection.  Poor baby has been really sick.   She got medicine so hopefully she will start to feel better soon.  I got my proofs back from the photo shoot we had while Michaela and Josh were here.  There are some very cute photos in the batch.  Will be printing quite a few of them.

Today is the challenge for The Paper Plunge.  Our challenge this week is all about candy – card candy.  Do you know what card candy is?  Card Candy is where you take a stamp set and you create pieces that would be the layers on your card.  You use as many of the stamps in the set as you want.  Usually a card candy set will have 5 or 6 images at least.  Amanda and I hosted one at Convention and it was fun.  We got some great ideas.

For our challenge I decided to use the White Christmas set.  I just love the little snowman and the polar bear.  Not to mention those trees.  I stamped the different images and then used punches and dies to cut them out.  Here are the different pieces I created for our challenge.

When I need to make a card, I just pull the piece off the window sheet and attach to my card.  I will be using these to make cards over the next few weeks so look to see the cards I made with them.

The rest of the design team was busy creating card candy.  Head on over to The Paper Plunge blog to see what the other design team members created.  There are some really cute ones there.  Have a Fabulous Friday!
