Hello Stampers ~ Scalloped circles are the main elements of my Timeless Textures Hello creation.
Well I managed to unpack 1 tote and 2 1/2 boxes yesterday. That leaves me with 1 1/2 boxes. I also got my crafting table cleaned off and set up. I still have a few small bins that I have to find a spot for but I have a few places left I can store them. I have several appointments today so not sure if I will get to them today or not. My new chair was delivered yesterday. I got a La-Z-Boy chair and half recliner. There is plenty of room for Bijou and myself and we are not crowded. It is so nice to have a comfy chair. It was hard siting in my wooden rocker for very long.
Are you wondering what the next stamp set on my Catalog Journey is? Today I have a great card using the flourish from Touches of Texture. I began by stamping the flourish using Night of Navy ink. I then used the Layering circles to cut it out. I also used the layering circles to cut a large Night of Navy scallop circle. I mounted the 2 circles. Using the 2 strips of images in the stamp set, I inked up half of one using Soft Sea Foam ink and stamped it on the right hand side of the Whisper White card base. I inked up the image again and stamped it on the left hand side of the card base. I repeated this procedure using the other straight image and Petal Pink ink overlapping the first image just slightly. The flourish layered image was added over top the stamped images using dimensionals.. On another scrap of paper I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and punched it out using the 1″ circle punch. Using the 1 1/8″ scallop circle and Soft Sea Foam card stock I punched out a circle. I then used the 1 3/8″ scallop circle punch and Petal Pink card stock and punched out another circle. All the circles were layered and then the sentiment element as added to the lower right hand corner of the card base. Here is the completed Timeless Textures Hello creation.
